Beginning at the Laurel Run Trailhead on Lake Sherwood Road, this hike crosses Anthony’s Creek before ascending through a scenic hardwood forest. Covering 1.8 miles with more than 900 feet of elevation gain, this section of trail is a true test of stamina and patience—but the views at the top make the climb well worth the effort.
