The Allegheny Trail exists through the collaborative efforts of federal and state agencies, conservation organizations, local communities, and countless dedicated partners. Together, we protect and maintain this treasured resource for current and future generations.


Manages over 921,000 acres of public lands through which the trail passes. Provides trail corridor access, technical assistance, and collaborative management support.

Provides trail corridor access through federal forest lands and supports sustainable trail management practices.

Manages state park properties including Coopers Rock State Forest, Audra State Park, and other locations where the trail passes. Supports trail maintenance and visitor services.
