Lake Sherwood to Peters Mountain

Begins: Laurel Run Trailhead along Lake Sherwood Road  Ends: Intersection with the Appalachian Trail along Peters Mountain at the West Virginia/Virginia border

Trail Description

This southernmost section of the Allegheny Trail passes through Monroe County and the mountains approaching the Virginia border, including the area around Moncove Lake State Park and the community of Gap Mills.
