About Nicolle

I was raised in the Adirondack mountains and have lived in WV for 24 years. From an early age, my family shared their love and respect for nature. I have grown into a four-season adventurer and outdoor lover.  I have hiked, hunted, fly-fished, golfed and skied in numerous states, am a forager and practice permaculture on our property.  

I found the Allegheny Trail in 2022 when I attended the TREK event.  I have been volunteering on-trail and off-trail since 2023 and had the privilege of chairing the Allegheny Trail 50th celebration. I started serving on the WVSTA board as Communication Coordinator in the summer of 2025.  I’m committed to showcasing the Allegheny Trail as a West Virginia and Mid-Atlantic asset that it is.  I’m excited about outreach, promotion and collaborating with the growing list of WVSTA partners.
