Getting to the Trail

To access the northern terminus by car, follow WV 26/WV-72 north if traveling there from West Virginia. If traveling south from Pennsylvania, take Skyline Drive and PA-857 south to the trailhead.

To access by air, you can fly into Morgantown Municipal Airport https://www.morgantownairport.com/, which is 30 minutes from the trailhead. Pittsburgh International Airport https://flypittsburgh.com/ one hour and 30 minutes away. The Greater Cumberland Regional Airport https://www.cbeairport.com/ is one hour and 10 minutes away. Please note that NO COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS fly in or out of this airport. This is a general aviation public airport.

To access the southern terminus by car, take US 219 south and State Route 635. 

To access by air, there are two airports nearby. The Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport https://www.flyroa.com/ (in VA) is an hour and 15 minutes away. The Greenbrier Valley Airport https://mylwb.com/ (in Lewisburg WV) is an hour and a half away.There are rental cars available at each airport.
