Section 3:

Cass Scenic Railroad to Lake Sherwood

Begins: Parking lot at the Cass Scenic Railroad  Ends: WV State Route 14, (a.k.a Lake Sherwood Road), in Greenbrier County

Trail Description

This section travels through some of West Virginia’s most remote backcountry, passing through Seneca State Forest and Watoga State Park – the largest state park in West Virginia. The trail traverses multiple mountain ridges and river valleys, including terrain along the Greenbrier River watershed.
